Stella Care was founded in 2012 by Rasmus Hansen and Søren Christiansen. Their vision behind Stella Care was to solve an ever-growing problem in society by providing security for people with dementia and their relatives or nursing staff. This is achieved by proving a GPS tracker to the person with dementia. An app is associated to the GPS tracker and can be used by relatives or nursing staff, to locate the person with dementia if he or she has gone missing. Today Stella Care has agreements with more than 50 municipalities and assists around 1.500 dementia patients with GPS trackers.
Remember the first time someone close to you started to forget. The first time he or she did not return home for dinner, or the first time someone you had responsibility for went missing? Stella Care serves to prevent these situations, by offering GPS trackers for people with dementia. multiple times Stella Care has received feedback from municipalities, confirming the safety Stella Care's products provide. With Stella Care's GPS trackers, the person with dementia is able to maintain his or her freedom, without the fear of disappearing and not being found. Along with assisting the nursing staff in their work.
