Case stories

Meeting regulatory targets in the Emergency Department

Streamlined processes, clearly defined areas of responsibility, and an immediate overview of capacity and availabilities ensure a smoothly running Emergency Department that meets region-wide KPIs. Through the implementation of INSIGHT and by establishing new work processes in the Emergency Department OUH was able to meet their predefined targets while creating a better, safer and more structured environment for both staff and patients.
Sterile Processing Department at Gentofte Hospital, Denmark

Through integration of robotics and automation our system, which stores sterilized surgical equipment as it exits the autoclaves, has allowed the hospital to significantly reduce unintended incidents as well as staff, making the sterile storage facility much more efficient. The flexibility is second-to-none. Surgeons can order urgent deliveries to take advantage of unforeseen surplus capacity in the surgical wards, or if an operation requires surgical equipment aside from standard equipment ordered during the operation planning phase. Unscheduled orders are priority processed and delivered at an exit bay 45 seconds after order on local work station. Thus, operations may proceed seamlessly regardless of the obstacles encountered along the way, and that operating theatre capacity can be fully exploited at all times.
Mette Fjord Nielsen - Head nurse, Center for planned surgery - The Regional Hospital of Silkeborg

"Using Goloo's disposable bedpans and urinals we can reduce the risk of infection and pressure ulcers, which improves the patient's experience"
"Here at Daghospitalet we are very happy about the new solution and I've asked a few people and they are also very positive! It is easier to collect faeces from the toilet now ... without the use of paper plates, etc." Lene Neergaard Ass. Ward Gastrointestinal Unit, Herlev Hospital.

Nestlé Nordic Challenge

Nestlé employees from Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland achieved healthier habits and a better work-life balance. Nestlé is an experienced company when it comes to digital health campaigns, and therefore took this campaign a step further and focused on several work-life balance and mental parameters than what you see in the usual health initiatives. The campaign hit the spot. Particularly the results in improving sleep patterns and better work-life balance aroused great enthusiasm, and the close cooperation between Nestlé and 7Peaks is now documented in big data, as healthy results and in scientific studies regarding strategic health management.
