Reducing turnover time in the Surgical Department

In the surgical department INSIGHT provides overview of the daily surgery schedule, the staff and the current situation in each operating room. This information is not only beneficial to the staff in the surgical department, but also to staff in supporting departments, who will know exactly when to expect the patient. A number of studies have been conducted regarding productivity gains from implementing INSIGHT. Findings have revealed that operating rooms running INSIGHT were 15% more time-efficient than rooms without INSIGHT. The same study found that the surgical department experienced an overall productivity gain of 4% per year (estimated DRG-value).
AGVs by DS AUTOMOTION, Cleveland, USA

Cleveland Clinic has had 81 automated vehicles installed. The AVGs cover more than 1700 km everyday and transports linen, food, waste and medical equipment in their various destinations within the hospital. In this application, the use of the AGV has resulted in a harmonious goods transport over long distances without collisions. Previously, heavy rolling carts had to be moved via steep ramps. Now, the AGV does this work both in an ergonomical, safe and efficient way.
Hans Henrik Johansen - Teacher and anestehesia nurse - The Social and Healthcare School of Fredericia, Vejle and Horsens, Denmark

"With Goloo's disposable bedpans it is possible to improve the patient's quality of life and break the routes of infection much earlier than with the traditional bedpans. Therefore, we only use disposable bedpans in our teaching."
"Here at Daghospitalet we are very happy about the new solution and I've asked a few people and they are also very positive! It is easier to collect faeces from the toilet now ... without the use of paper plates, etc." Lene Neergaard Ass. Ward Gastrointestinal Unit, Herlev Hospital.

Nestlé Nordic Challenge

Nestlé employees from Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland achieved healthier habits and a better work-life balance. Nestlé is an experienced company when it comes to digital health campaigns, and therefore took this campaign a step further and focused on several work-life balance and mental parameters than what you see in the usual health initiatives. The campaign hit the spot. Particularly the results in improving sleep patterns and better work-life balance aroused great enthusiasm, and the close cooperation between Nestlé and 7Peaks is now documented in big data, as healthy results and in scientific studies regarding strategic health management.
