We are facing an ageing population structure which increases demands on services and puts pressure on the health sector. The impact of Covid-19 has also displayed the need for increasingly digitalised healthcare solutions.
Both Denmark and the Netherlands are digital frontrunners and innovative health-tech nations. The visit will therefore address innovative new technologies and how these can solve future challenges in the health sector.
The Netherlands is especially interested in further advancing their healthcare system. They are already taking steps towards smarter and increasingly digitalised solutions as the Dutch government recently proposed a law on electronic data moving, where the objective is to make electronic exchange of healthcare data mandatory.
This is a unique opportunity for Danish companies to engage in high-level discussions with industry leaders and Dutch decision-makers and showcase their solutions for the healthcare sector of the future.
The visit will also be focusing on actions towards combating climate change, as the Netherlands and Denmark also share common interests within the energy sector.
