Innovative Security Manager™ is a modular incident management platform, which can receive different alarms/incidents from different sources to provide a single, integrated solution for monitoring and handling all kinds of signals and alarms. ISM can receive and handle fire alarms, burglar alarms, elevator emergency calls, care calls, video signals, technical alarms etc. from different types of equipment using different protocols and transmission media - while presenting all the information in the same user interface.
Innovative Security Manager™ is suitable for handling Emergency Calls and Care Call systems used by municipalities to serve elderly citizens. Use ISM to provide safety and comfort among senior citizens or other individuals, who require easy and fast assistance. When a citizen press the call button at home, this causes an alarm in ISM at the control center. The operator handles the alarm and talks with the citizens. Instructions inform the operator about required responses, such as contacting a specific resource from the municipality or home care.
The Care Call solution integrates Innovative Security Manager™ with different care call systems. ISM presents care calls as alarms in the alarm queue. Subsequently, the operator handles the care call as any other alarm in ISM. The platform can also handle care calls automatically. When handled in this way, ISM automatically calls one or more contacts according to a workshift schedule (eg. nurses) and then transfers the care call to these individuals. At the same time, ISM automatically transmits a text message (SMS) containing customer information to the contact.
Innovative’s solution for care calls was implemented at Malmö Stads LarmCentral. The municipality chose Innovative Security Manager™ not only to handle their care calls, but also elevator alarms, burglary alarms, personal alarms and other emergencies.
