Silverbullet has implemented the Danish integration to epSOS for the National Healthcare IT and we were also responsible for maintenance and support on epSOS. epSOS is a European healthcare IT project, that will support the free movement of citizens in the EU. A significant part of the epSOS is a pilot test that began in late 2011 and aimed at exchanging electronic prescription medicine and patient summary. In practice this means that a Danish citizen can obtain his medication in another EU country due to a Danish electronic prescription.
Three Danish regions are collaborating on an open source telemedical solution that makes it possible to collect data for monitoring patients in their own home. Silverbullet is proud to take part in the project OpenTele, and we are developing a flexible solution that can collect data from all telemedical monitors. OpenTele makes it possible for patients to carry out measurements of e.g. their blood sugar, lung capacity and heart sounds in their own home, and thereby the patients take part in their own treatment.Read more about OpenTele: Here
