Playing a part in the largest construction project in Denmark
At the size of a small provincial town, the new University Hospital Aarhus (DNU) is a leading hospital based in Central Jutland, Denmark and its expansion will cover a 1,200,000m2 site. Guaranteeing the successful navigation of this immense site has been a major project for Modulex working in conjunction with The DNU Group of Consultants, led by C.F. Møller.
The Via Interior components have been developed in co-operation with C.F. Møller and are available as suspended, wall-mounted and projecting with both illuminated and non-illuminating options. Via Interior enables a level of flexibility suited to the future demands of the hospital.

Focusing on customer satisfaction
The Humber River Hospital is one of Canada’s largest regional acute care hospitals, serving a catchment area of more than 850,000 people in the northwest Greater Toronto area. The hospital currently operates on three sites with a total of 656 beds, 3,300 staff, approximately 700 physicians and 400 volunteers and have worked with Modulex on the wayfinding and signage installation project.
The resulting wayfinding program needed to balance both static and digital elements which work in collaboration to guide patients and visitors around the extensive site. Modulex were brought in as wayfinding consultants at the initial stages and have worked with Humber River Hospital on the implementation of the signage and wayfinding products including exterior and interior products.
